EuroTaxis Ltd is a private limited company. It originally began as Northavon Taxis in the very early eighties and later in 1991 changed names to Eurotaxis. Originally, the business was run from the family home but very quickly had to relocate to business premises, first Dovercourt Road, Lockleaze, then EmmaChris Way, Filton then to Jorrocks Estate in Westerleigh near Yate and finally to a 3 acre purpose built site in Yate. There are two workshops and a bodyshop on site with 10 full time mechanics maintaining not only their own extensive fleet but also the public.
EuroTaxis is the largest hackney and private hire operator in the area, with an extensive fleet of taxis, buses and coaches varying in size from 4 seats up to 70 seats. 24 hour service is guaranteed which means that there is always a car available at short notice. Using the very latest GPS booking and despatch system and for added security all telephone calls are recorded. The EuroTaxis app has been a huge success enabling people to book and track their taxis without ringing the office.
There are four company share holders including the director Keith Sanzo who has a National & International CPC. Keith has helped grow the company grow from 15 vehicles to what it is today one of the largest coach operators in the region. Fellow director William Sanzo started after studying Business Studies at University in 2001, as well as having a National & International CPC has a NEBOSH certificate in Health and Safety.
Daniel Blackmore is the transport manager and his team run the busy coach and bus division, with someone always on call, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They manage a dedicated team of professional drivers.
The site has an authorised testing facility (ATF) allowing coaches and lorries to be MOT’d at their site.
